Student Voice and Leadership

Secondary students take on leadership roles and organize non-academic activities for their peers, and generally work towards improving student life through their advising classes. They plan grade level and division wide social activities such as the annual high school and middle school retreats to Kangaba, dances, movies nights, the middle school lock-in, sports events and service learning activities.  They also raise and discuss school rules and procedures and are able to present these to the adminstration in writing or directly.  Elementary students make use of class meeting time for similar activities and raise their concerns in writing or during announcements at the regular scheduled elementary assemblies.
